The Chicago Region of the Porsche Club of America was established in 1957 as the Chicago-Milwaukee region, making the 6th region in the country. The region was the host of the fourth Parade in 1959 at Nippersink Manor in southern Wisconsin. By 1960, the northern Illinois membership had grown so large that it could support its own region and a split at the border could be made. Beginning in 1960, the original Chicago-Milwaukee region became the Chicago region, and a new region was created in Milwaukee. We are one of the largest regions with more than 4100 members and are part of PCA’s Zone 13.
For more on how the region started, click here.
The members of the Chicago Region of the Porsche Club of America are joined together and are mutually pledged to the furtherance and promotion of the following:
- The highest standards of motor vehicle maintenance, driving courtesy and safety on the roads.
- The enjoyment and sharing of goodwill and fellowship engendered by owning a Porsche and engaging in such social, educational, or other events as may be agreeable to the membership.
- The maintenance of the highest standards of operation and performance of the marque by sharing and exchanging technical and mechanical information.
- The establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships with the Porsche Works, Porsche Dealers, and other service sources to the end that the marque shall prosper and continue to enjoy its unique leadership and position in sports car annals.
- The interchange of ideas and suggestions with other Porsche Clubs and other interested parties throughout the world and in such cooperation as may be desirable.
- The establishment of such mutually cooperative relationships with other car clubs as may be desirable.
- The preservation of the independence of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) and the Chicago Region, free of control or undue influence by any outside individual, organization, company, or other entity, no matter how closely aligned to the Club in interest or purpose. In furtherance of this goal, the Porsche Club of America – Chicago Region is and shall remain a totally member-driven and primarily member-financed independent entity allowing neither inappropriate nor undue influence, financial or material, from outside its domain, owing allegiance only to its members.
For more information about becoming a member, see our membership page here.
If you have any questions regarding membership, click here to contact our membership chair.
Already a member? Check out PCA’s new Digital Membership Card for Apple and Android devices.
The goal of the Chicago Region is to maximize the experience of owning a Porsche for our members. If you have suggestions on ways we can improve on that experience or any questions regarding the club, contact our President, Dana Comolli, here.

Ready for another relaxing “Feel Good Sunday”?
We’ve been invited back to The Pearl of St Charles, a short term post hospital rehabilitation and long term care facility, to show off our cars and meet their residents.
What a great way to put a smile on someone’s face while enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having!! The residents are looking forward to meeting our members and excited to see our beautiful Porsches.
We will be hosting a Best in Show competition where the residents vote on their favorite cars, and we will be giving away some fun prizes.
The care facility is only a short drive away for most of us and minutes away from St Charles’ vibrant downtown. There are lots of great restaurant choices for lunch afterwards. So please, come join us!
Please register thru ClubRegistration so we can anticipate the number of cars and plan accordingly.

Fall is upon us, so on October 3 we return to the Two Brothers Roundhouse for a laid-back Porsches & Pilsners event.
Park your Porsche in the large lot, check out the beautiful cars, and say hello to your friends. Grab a cold one and relax on the patio if it is warm enough, or inside at the bar (They brew their own). Feel like some food? You are in the right place! Make a reservation on your own for whatever time you prefer, during or after our event.
There is no plan for us to sit down as a large group, so you and your friends will need to arrange any dining plans on your own. You can make a dinner reservation via their Open Table link or give them a call at (630) 892-0232.
Passion for beer, love of food and appreciation for great architecture flourish in the walls of this historic 70,000 square foot facility.
Just so you know, the roundhouse was constructed in 1856 to serve Aurora on the Chicago & Aurora Railroad. The walls of the structure were constructed with locally quarried limestone from Batavia, Illinois. The building is the oldest limestone roundhouse in the United States and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You can even ride the Metra BNSF train to the station just a few feet from their door.
Please register at Club Registration for this event so that we can inform you of any last-minute details that might arise.
See you there, rain or shine!

Ready for another relaxing “Feel Good Sunday”?

What a great way to put a smile on someone’s face while enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having!! The residents are looking forward to meeting our members and excited to see our beautiful Porsches.
We will be hosting a Best in Show competition where the residents vote on their favorite cars, and we will be giving away some fun prizes.

If you have never digitally signed a PDF, these steps will help you through the process.
It is important that you have selected all of the candidates you wish to vote for as well as entered your name, email address, and member number BEFORE you sign the ballot because the fields for associated with the signature will become read-only and will not be able to be changed once the document has been signed.
Open the ballot in the Adobe Reader application. You cannot sign a PDF document from within a browser.
Once you have completed your ballot, click the signature portion of the ballot below where you selected your desired candidates as shown in highlighted selection of the ballot below:

If you have not configured a digital signature, a prompt similar to what is shown below will be displayed. Click the Configure Digital ID option.

This will bring up a series of dialogs that will guide you through the creation of a digital id on your computer. Depending on the version of the Adobe Reader you have installed, the dialogs may be slightly different but the information they will request, and the end result will be the same.
Select Create a new Digital ID and click Continue

Select Save to Windows Certificate Store and click Continue

Enter your name and the email address you provided the PCA National website (PCA.org) and click Save

Select the Digital ID you want to use to sign the document and click Continue

Click Sign

You will now be prompted to save the signed PDF to your computer.
This is the file you will then email to be counted.

If you need to configure a second signature on your computer for another member in your household, you can repeat this process.
If you do have two memberships in your household, and you use the same ballot, remember to save the ballot after signing the second time. It is OK to overwrite the ballot you saved when you signed it the first time.
Finally, don’t forget where you saved the ballot, as that is the file you will need to submit.
If you use Outlook, you can add the shared calendar by following these steps:
- Select Calendar
- Select either the From Internet… option from the Open Calendar drop-down on the Outlook ribbon or right click on My Calendars and select From Internet…
- In the Location field, enter the following”
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/eventschedule%40pca-chicago.org/public/basic.ics - click OK
If you want to have our calendar overlay your default calendar in Outlook once you have followed the steps above:
- In Calendar, in the Navigation Pane, select the check box of another calendar that you want to view.
The calendar that you selected will open to the right of the calendar that is already displayed. Each successive calendar opens to the right of the one most recently opened. - On the calendar’s tab, click View in Overlay Mode (the left-facing arrow on the calendar tab.) That calendar is now in overlay mode with the one you opened first — usually your default calendar.
If you use the native Calendar application on your iPhone and you want our events to be automatically added to your calendar, follow these steps on your iPhone:
- Open Settings > Calendar
- Tap Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- From the list of account types, tap Other
- Tap Add Subscribed Calendar
- In the Server field, enter the following:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/eventschedule%40pca-chicago.org/public/basic.ics and tap Next - Tap Save
Now, when you open the iPhone Calendar application, our events will be automatically merged in.
These steps are for IOS 14 and later and could be slightly different for other versions.
